Went to Skegness. Notes It was Whit Bank Holiday so grandad went to Skegness, see Chapter 18. He probably went with grandma, Ethel Cirket. Went to Prims. Notes Grandad went to “Prims”. “Prims” is a reference to Primitive Methodists, in general, and to Bourne Primitive Methodist Chapel in Kirkby, specifically, see Chapter 17. He probably went with grandma, Ethel Cirket. They were “courting” at this time and would marry in 1930, see Chapter 16.

Went to Belvoir Castle Notes Grandad noted that he went to Belvoir Castle, see Chapter 18, described as a faux historic castle and stately home about six miles west of Grantham.
