Went to Ollerton. Notes Grandad went to Ollerton. I suspect he went with grandma as they were “courting” at this stage and would marry in 1930, see Chapter 16. They may have gone to visit grandad’s brother Len as he had moved to Ollerton in 1924, see Chapter 24.

Went to Loughborough Carillon. Notes Grandad went to Loughborough but initially I found the second word illegible. Went to Prims. Notes Grandad went to “Prims” which is a reference to Primitive Methodists, in general, and to Bourne Primitive Methodist Chapel in Kirkby, specifically, see Chapter 17. Grandad probably went with grandma, Ethel Cirket. They were “courting” at this time and would marry in 1930, see Chapter 16.
