Grandad attended a repeat of the Sunday School Anniversary (SSA) at the Wesleyan Chapel (WC), presumably the one on Diamond Avenue which is now the site of Trinity Methodist Church, see Chapter 17. I presume he went with grandma, Ethel Cirket. They were “courting” at this stage and would marry in 1930, see Chapter 16.
