Went to Titchfield Park Hucknall.

Notes

There are at least three Titchfield Parks in the area, in Kirkby, in Mansfield and this one in Hucknall, see Chapter 18. I believe they are named after the Marquis of Titchfield, the son of the Duke of Portland. I imagine he would have gone with grandma, Ethel Cirket. At this stage, grandma and grandad were courting and would marry in 1930, see Chapter 16. Grandma was staying with them for the week.

I am also not sure but the handwriting looks very different from elsewhere in the diaries. I wonder if grandma wrote this entry for him. However, although she did this for him later in life when he was ill, I am not sure why she would have done this so early before they were married. Perhaps it was grandad and he was just trying to write more neatly!
