Went to Wollaton Park.

It seems grandad went to Wollaton Park again having been there the previous Tuesday, see Chapter 18. He probably went with grandma, Ethel Cirket. They were “courting” at this time and would marry in 1930, see Chapter 16. I am not sure how they would have travelled but it was a round trip of about 30 miles. Grandad had a motorbike at that time.
I am not sure but the handwriting looks very different from other entries. I wonder if grandma wrote it for him. However, although she did this for him later in life when he was ill, I am not sure why she would have done this so early before they were married. Perhaps it was grandad and he was just trying to write more neatly!
