Went to Belvoir Castle

Grandad noted that he went to Belvoir Castle, see Chapter 18, described as a faux historic castle and stately home about six miles west of Grantham. It is just under 30 miles from Kirkby.
I suspect that he went with grandma, Ethel Cirket. They were “courting” at this time and would marry in 1930, see Chapter 16. I suspect they went by motorbike. At that time, grandad owned an Alldays Allon motorcycle, possibly with a sidecar.
