Grandad went to “Prims” which is a reference to Primitive Methodists, in general, and to Bourne Primitive Methodist Chapel in Kirkby, specifically, see Chapter 17. Grandad probably went with grandma, Ethel Cirket. They were “courting” at this time and would marry in 1930, see Chapter 16.
