E refers to my grandmother Ethel May Cecilia Parkin. D refers to my Auntie Dolly whose full name was Dorothy Rose. She was grandad’s first cousin. She was staying with grandma and grandad, see Chapter 106.
DLM refers to Drayton Ladies’ Meeting which operated from Drayton Methodist Church, see Chapter 107.
