A very mild day for the time of year. We still had our groceries delivered by the shop, this is our second week of delivery. Ethel’s feet a little better.

Ethel refers to my grandmother Ethel May Cecilia Parkin. At this time, she had been suffering with painful feet, see Chapter 100. I assume they were having their groceries delivered as grandma was unable to get to the shop.
