Ethel went with Mrs Elsegood to West Norwich Hospital to see Mrs Cooper. Ethel paid the Gas bill £11.92.

Ethel refers to my grandmother Ethel May Cecilia Parkin. Mrs Elsegood refers to her friend Rose Elsegood. Mrs Cooper was someone grandma and Mrs Elsegood knew through church. This visit is referred to in Chapter 100.
The West Norwich Hospital was a major hospital in Norwich. Since 2005, it has been the Norwich Community Hospital, see Chapter 78.
