Yesterday (Thursday) I erected the bird table, as it was painted the birds would not go on it. It will be several days before they will. Ethel went to Princess St church in Norwich.

The bird table referred to was one grandad made between August and October 1973, see Chapter 109.
Ethel refers to my grandmother Ethel May Cecilia Parkin. I think grandad is referring to Princes St Congregational Church. Grandma quite often attended meetings here, see Chapter 107.
