The book “Giles’s Trip to London” was written by James Spilling, the editor of the Eastern Daily Press (EDP) in the 19th century. It was written in Norfolk dialect. There is quite a detailed description of the book on joemasonspage. The EDP also reviewed the work of James Spilling in 2020.
