Ethel went twice to DMC. Sheila, Roy, Roger & Alan came for tea. Ethel went to Chapel Field Road MC to hear the President or the MC Rev H O Morton MA. VAT begins today.

Ethel refers to my grandmother Ethel May Cecilia Parkin.
DMC refers to Drayton Methodist Church. Grandma went there twice each Sunday see Chapter 107.
Sheila refers to my mother Sheila May Drew and Roy to my father Royle Drew. Roger refers to me and Alan to my brother. It was our practice to have Sunday tea at grandma and grandad’s – see Chapter 106. I am not sure why my two sisters were not there that week.
