  Went to a Liberal Meeting at Market Hall. Notes This meeting that grandad attended was presumably part of the run-up to the December General Election, see Chapter 25. The Market Hall was the name of the Festival Hall in Kirkby before it was renamed at the time of the Festival of Britain, see Chapter 59.
