Nottm refers to Nottingham. For details of the Albert Hall, see Chapter 54. I found a notice of this organ recital in the Nottingham Evening Post the previous day. In fact, there were two organ recitals, one in the afternoon at 2.45 and another at 6pm. They were part of Armistice Day events including two services with preacher Ira G Goldhawk. Both recitals were by Bernard Johnson, MusBac (Bachelor of Music).
