I finished mowing the front lawn also mowed the grass in the road. I think this will be the finish of lawn mowing this year.

Grandma and grandad had large lawns at the front and back of their house which required a great deal of care and attention, including mowing, see Chapter 109. Grandad had mowed half the front lawn the previous day. Mowing the grass in the road refers to a small piece of grass between their front wall and the road.
