Arthur came down in the morning. Sheila also came in the morning to talk over her postition (when she came Arthur went home). She & R do not look like making up their grievance. In the afternoon Ethel went to Princess St. Con; at Norwich.

Arthur refers to grandad’s friend with whom he did a lot of practical tasks, see Chapter 109.

Sheila refers to my mother Sheila May Drew nee Parkin. R refers to my father Royle Drew. The position/grievance referred to is that my parents had split up, see Chapter 99.

Ethel refers to my grandma Ethel May Cecilia Parkin. Princess St. Con; refers to the United Reformed Church (formerly Congregational) in Princes Street, see Chapter 107.
