Sheila came again to answer a letter re John, Len’s wife wrote asking for £150 to rig John up to go into a rest home for 3 weeks. I was agreeable.

Sheila refers to my mother, Sheila May Drew nee Parkin.
John refers to John Smith, grandad’s brother-in-law. Len refers to John and Olive’s son. Olive had died in 1952and I believe grandad was managing some of her money but I am not sure why, see Chapter 100.
