E & F went to both services at DMC, Sheila & E came for tea.

E & F refers to my grandmother Ethel May Cecilia Parkin and her friend Florrie Booth who was visiting from Kirkby, see Chapter 106.
DMC refers to Drayton Methodist Church, see Chapter 107.
Sheila refers to my mother Sheila May Drew nee Parkin. The second E refers to my sister Elizabeth (Liz). It was our usual practice to go to grandma and grandad’s for tea on Sunday afternoon, see Chapter 106. I don’t know why it was only Liz who went this Sunday.
