Barbara gave me 3 tea chests. Cup Final at Wembley, Sunderland (2nd Division) won. Sunderland 1 Leeds 0. Last time Sunderland was at Wembley 1937.

Barbara refers to Barbara Carpenter, grandma and grandad’s next-door neighbour.
Grandad probably wanted the tea chests for the material they were made from, see Chapter 109.
Sunderland’s win in the FA Cup Final was a big upset (see Chapter 112) and this is hinted at by grandad here.
